How do the hiveDisk Premium plans work?
None of our plans require any contribution. They offer a certain amount of cloud storage for a monthly fee. For example, the 50GB plan costs 0.99 EUR/month and provides 50GB of cloud storage.

How do I manage my hiveDisk plan?
You can manage your hiveDisk plan through either the app or the website. You'll be able to see what plan you're currently on and make changes to it as needed.
How do I upgrade my hiveDisk plan?
You can upgrade your plan by visiting your account page. If you haven't entered any payment information yet, you'll need to do so to process the upgrade. Once your payment information is entered and confirmed, you'll be billed for the new plan.
How can I downgrade my hiveDisk plan?
You can downgrade your plan at any time through the app or our website. However, please ensure that you are not using more storage space than the lower plan allows. If you are, you'll need to remove content from your hiveDisk until you're below the storage limit of your desired plan.
How can I cancel my hiveDisk plan entirely?
If you are on a paid plan and you want to stop being charged, you can downgrade to the free plan. Please refer to the steps for downgrading above.
What happens if my payment for the hiveDisk plan fails?
If your payment fails, your account will enter into a "stasis" state. In this state, you will still be able to access your files, download them, move them to the trash, and empty your trash. However, you won't be able to upload any more data or perform any other actions. Once your payment goes through, everything will resume working as normal. Alternatively, you could remove enough data to qualify for the free plan; then, all actions will be possible again.
Can I just pay for a hiveDisk plan and not contribute any storage?
Yes, you can choose to pay for a plan without contributing any storage.
What options are available if I join hiveDisk via mobile?
Mobile users can create an account on the free plan. To choose a premium plan, you’ll have to visit our website’s pricing page, and to contribute, you’ll need to download the desktop version.
How do I update my contribution?
Your contribution is initially defined during your onboarding process or new device setup. It can be modified anytime via the desktop settings. We like to keep things flexible, because we know change is the only constant!
How is the monthly reward calculated?
The monthly reward is calculated by tracking your contributions every 10 minutes. If you contribute a certain amount, for example, 30 Terabytes, it's calculated as "Terabyte-hours" (TBh). Over an hour, this becomes 30 TBh. The monthly total is the sum of these 10-minute intervals throughout the month, taking into account the number of hours in the month.
