If you searched for “TKH cloud storage” while trying to find an old backup account, start with Currys. Its current Cloud Backup support page still refers to Team Knowhow and Knowhow Cloud. Match those names with your receipt or account email before signing in or buying another subscription.
This guide covers the Currys service for UK customers: how to find the official account route, check what is backed up, and prepare for recovery or cancellation. Hivenet does not operate the service and cannot access your Currys account.
Currys sells cloud backup, with Livedrive identified as the service provider. Older branding can make an account harder to recognize. Check the seller, product name, account email, and subscription period together rather than relying on an abbreviation.
TKH Security describes physical-security, parking, and access-control systems. Its products do not establish the features of a Team Knowhow backup subscription. Claims about building-access credentials, security-camera integrations, or enterprise APIs should not be applied to your cloud backup account.
Use the activation or login link on Currys’ official support page. It points to the Currys Cloud Backup portal, which provides separate activation and login routes. An existing customer should use Login; activation is for setting up a purchase.
A failed login does not establish that your files have been deleted. It may involve a different email address, an expired subscription, or an account-access problem. Ask support to identify the account and its status before making changes.
Start with a small file you can recognize, such as a recent document or photo. Find its original location, then check whether the correct version appears in the backup. A file name alone is not enough: compare the contents and the last successful backup time.
Currys’ product information says automatic backup on phones and tablets must be enabled after installation. It also distinguishes the Online Drive from backup copies. Do not assume that viewing a file in an app means every folder on that device is protected.
Our explanation of cloud synchronization and backup helps separate file access from recovery. For irreplaceable files, use an independent copy as part of a 3-2-1 backup approach.
Currys’ support guidance warns that deselecting a backed-up folder removes its cloud copy on the next backup, and closing the account permanently deletes the stored files. Download and check the files you need before taking either action.
When testing a restore, keep the recovered files separate from newer work. Check documents, photos, and any large archives individually. A completed transfer can still leave you with the wrong version or a file that needs another application to open.
If you are leaving the service, make a list of the folders you need, copy them to the new destination, and test those copies. Keep the old subscription active until that work is finished. Then use Currys’ cancellation route and retain the confirmation. See our guide to testing recovery for a more systematic check.
The Currys portal presents consumer and business products separately. Storage capacity, device allowances, user accounts, and sharing controls depend on the product you purchased. Check your own subscription before following instructions intended for a different plan.
Compare the renewal cost, covered devices, recovery options, and support route together. This guide does not reproduce a price table because offers and subscription terms can change. If current product pages conflict with an older receipt, ask Currys to confirm the terms for your account.
Write down the job you need it to do: automatically back up selected folders, keep everyday files available across devices, or support a business team. Then test that job with a few non-sensitive files before migrating the full archive.
Store with Hivenet is an option for personal files and photo backup. Evaluate its supported features against your needs rather than assuming it replaces every Currys backup function. Whichever service you choose, retain an independent copy and verify that you can recover it.
